Campbell McLennanCampbell McLennan - Managing Director
Member of the HIA and Master Builders Australia (MBA), accredited Builder with Building Ethics Australia (BEA), and a HIA Greensmart Professional.

I love seeing people’s lives improved by living in a house that not only looks and functions great, but also means they love coming home!

Campbell brings not only a solid career history in the building industry, but a reputation for integrity, high-quality workmanship and rigorous attention to detail. He has an outstanding ability to listen carefully to, and faithfully interpret others’ ideas which has made him the ideal choice of builder for award-winning architects and owner-builders alike.

Campbell grew up on a property in the Wimmera region of country Victoria. Working alongside his father, he learned to weld, design and build from an early age. As he grew up, Campbell designed and constructed many farm implements, extensions, renovations, sheds and furniture.

As an apprentice carpenter in Stawell from 1989-1992, Campbell involved himself in every aspect of construction, including: excavating and concreting; carpentry; steel work and welding; cabinet making; tiling and painting. From 1993 Campbell worked as a sub-contract carpenter, building new houses, extensions and renovations. During this year he won First Place in the Ballarat Regional Workskill Competition, and was also highly placed in the Australian National Workskill Competition.

In 1994 Campbell moved to Melbourne, where he was contracted by some of the larger metropolitan building firms. Then finally, in 1996, he moved to the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne and started work as a Domestic Builder. Not long afterwards, Campbell formed MCL Constructions with a vision: he wanted to see each member of the MCL team loving their job, enjoying life, and growing in their skills.
